Two, three or more cameras — Orcast cuts between them by who is speaking, not on a timer. Reaction-friendly: mark the room camera as the wide and it covers crosstalk automatically.
Only one camera on a speaker? Add a zoom angle: drag a frame over the picture and Orcast really crops the camera to it — an extra close-up in the edit and the export, no second lens needed.
The automatic cut lands on a timeline: change any shot, then export. Automatic never means out of your hands.
Have the speech recognised and you get a transcript of the episode — and the subtitles arrive as a separate SRT file next to the recording they were recognised from. Orcast cannot burn them into the picture.
Your video files are never uploaded — only technical audio data leaves the computer, and Orcast's online engine works out the cut plan from it. Speech recognition runs over the internet only: the audio of the recording you picked goes to a cloud service — never the video.
