Frequently asked questions
Are my recordings uploaded to the cloud?
Video files stay on your computer. Building the cut sends technical audio data and editing settings to the online engine. If you start speech recognition, selected audio is sent to the configured cloud service.
How does the license work?
The subscription is tied to your account. Check the device allowance and available unbinds in your account before moving to another computer: device transfers are limited, not unlimited.
Who processes payments and handles refunds?
Payments and taxes are handled by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy, which is also the seller of record. Refund terms are on the Refunds page.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, anytime. Pro access stays until the end of the paid period, then the account reverts to Free — the projects and files already on your disk stay untouched.
